Tasio del Castaño Villanueva

Tasio is a founding partner of AMCHOR Investment Strategies.

In 2004 Tasio co-founded the company Furno & Del Castaño Capital Partners as Managing Partner; a management company for collective investment institutions based in London and regulated by the FSA, which Lehman Brothers controlled by 51%.

Prior to this, he worked for Lehman Brothers team within the Investment Management Division. He was in charge of the Wealth Management area with coverage for Spain and Portugal, where he contributed to the development of the business plan, the selection and training of the human team, as well in the choice of products and their commercial strategy.

In 1994 he joined Banco Santander International Miami, as co-commercial director of Latin America. He was the design manager of the commercial strategy, the selection and training of the sales force and the commercial relationships with large clients.

In 1990 he joined Goldman Sachs London as director of the Wealth Management Division for Spain and Portugal. He developed the business from scratch, promoting the commercialization of discretionary investment products, structured products and equity and fixed-income brokerage services for private clients.

Tasio holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from ICADE University.
