Vasco Nuno Jesus

Vasco joined the AMCHOR Investment Strategies team in 2014 as a Country Head for Portugal.

Previously, from 2007 to 2013, he worked as Portfolio manager of Third-Party Funds and at Fund of Funds in BPI Bank of Asset Management, based in Lisbon. In the same year (2007) he founded the Investment Fund “Elegant Numbers” (Cascais, Portugal) and in 2006 he worked as a Senior Analyst at Banco BPI.

From 2003 to 2005, he was advisor and executive consultant (title: Worldwide Business Intelligence Manager) in Barcelona.

He accumulated an extensive experience at SMC Networks in Barcelona and also as a management consultant at IT Consultants in Johannesburg (South Africa).

Vasco holds a degree in Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Cardiff (UK); where he also worked as a Mathematics teacher.

He holds a master´s degree in Management Sciences and Operational Research from Warwick Business School, Coventry (UK).
